The lambskin pelt is extremely versatile, there are numerous options for its use as a floor rug. But it doesn't stop there, the lambskin rug can be used in many places such as to cover a chair or on top of the bed.
Further, sheepskin can be specially tanned for use with babies and as a medical rug. Sheepskins offer unique benefits when used for bedding, for both baby and adults. Also the wool fibers can be left naturally as longwool or shorn to a uniform length, each having their own advantages.
This website aims to provide an overview of these many uses of sheep skin and contains additional information not available on our main sheepskin sales website. We have so much information to share with you but didn't want to clutter the main e-commerce site with too much information.

Classic Sheepskins
From humble beginnings back in 1969, the tannery has developed to become New Zealand's premier and longest established privately owned tannery. Its manufacturing plant produces a diverse range of products all made from quality sheepskins.
Their quality policy was reinforced by them achieving ISO 9001 registration in 1995, and its principles being strictly adhered to.
Through Classic's unique tanning process, skilled tanners turn quality raw material into superior handcrafted products made to stringent Wool Mark standards and specifications.
We stock Classic's natural pelt shape rugs in Ivory White from Spring Lambs and XL Singles up to their 8-pelt Octo. In addition to these we offer a vast range of additional sizes and colors on a special order basis. Sizes and shapes go up to the huge 12-pelt size and span 20 dyed colors.
