As a luxurious centerpiece to the lounge, a cosy fireside retreat for the cat or dog, or beside the bed, sheepskins can be used to excellent effect all around the house.
Although the most common use of our Classic Sheepskins single and multiples is for use as a floor covering, more and more customers are discovering their versatility. 
The singles, 1.5-piece and doubles make lavish throws that can be draped over any chair. Sometimes to cover an old chair that has seen better days, or to add a distinctive style to a room, or perhaps just for that luxuriously warm cosy feeling. 
Many of our large sized rugs are not available elsewhere. We have worked closely with our tannery to bring you one of the widest available selections of New Zealand sheepskin rugs. Larger multiple lambskin rugs are often used on beds as a decorative bed spread. Our Classic Sheepskins range can be found in the sheepskin rugs section of our main sheepskins website. All Ivory White colored rugs up to the 8-pelt size are kept in stock. Larger rugs and dyed colors in all sizes are ordered specially and tend to take from just a few days to a couple of weeks depending on availability of the sheepskin color. 5 Star Grade XL Single Extra large single lambskin pelt. Ideal for use beside the bed and in any small room. Also good as a pet rug, though we do offer a lower cost Medium Lambskin Rug that is smaller and has a slightly shorter wool length. Average dimensions of XL Natural White: Length: 40" (102cm) Width: 29" (74cm) 1.5-piece The additional length allows this rug to be used on a chair vertically, giving you ample space to sit on and lean back on the wonderfully soft wool fibres. Average dimensions: Length: 54" (137cm) Width: 26" (66cm) End-to-end Double The pelts are joined end to end, giving long narrow sheepskin rugs. Ideal for a corridor or other long space, across the end of the bed, or horizontally along a sofa to sit on it. Average dimensions: Length: 72" (183cm) Width: 26" (66cm) Four-piece Quarto Made from four pieces to cover an area of almost 6ft by 4ft. As well as a floor rug it can be used as a bedspread bed covering. Average dimensions: Length: 71" (180cm) Width: 44" (112cm) Six-piece Sexto In a 3 by 2 configuration, a very popular size for people who don't have quite enough space for the larger Octo multiple. Average dimensions: Length: 71" (180cm) Width: 60" (154cm) Eight-piece Octo The largest of the stocked multiple sheep skin rugs. Spectacular - ideal as a centerpiece for large areas such as in the center a lounge. Average dimensions: Length: 83" (211cm) Width: 73" (185cm) How rugs are measured The length and width are at the longest points. Being a natural product there will be some differences in dimensions, as we provide average dimensions, some rugs will be larger or smaller than stated. As size grading is done on overall area, generally the area of the rug will be similar. We can match rugs when purchased together The size grading reduces differences in dimensions and wool length between pelts but being a natural product, each has its own unique characteristics.
